Fantastic hotel! Milano Centrale was 2 or 3 blocks from the hotel; we walked from the station with our bags and all, it's very accessible. It's not super close to the Duomo (about 3km), but there is a metro station (Loreto, line M1) about 150m from the hotel and we were there in no time (it's 5 stations only). Other times we would just walk to the Duomo as it was a 40' walk and an enjoyable one given there are lots of stores and brands on Corso Buenos Aires. The staff was super friendly, spoke several languages. The room was beautiful! I don't understand the comments about the furniture being old. Honestly, the decor is super classy and refined. Marble floors, marble countertops on the nightstands and TV console, marqueterie everywhere, even on the doors, the 'wallpaper' was actually fabric. The mattress was very comfortable, linens were good quality. Our room even had a bath and the water pressure was super. The breakfast was superb, lots of options, everything made fresh and staff always making sure there was enough of everything. There was a coffee machine there but you could order cappuccinos from the kitchen if you wanted to, and they would bring it to your table. The service at the cafe was supreme. They stored our bags and luggage after we checked out so we could go take a last look at this beautiful city.

The staff was great because we thought we had a 4 day stay and they were nice of enough let us keep the same room.
