Location was perfect for us because we came into kisumu by bus - the station is literally in walking distance. Also right in the middle of things (grocery store, restaurants, bank, all walking distance). Easy enough to uber to other hot spots like kisumu museum. Simple comfortable rooms. Really great breakfast. Plus everyone is very friendly. Kisumu was a stop on a trip more west. We liked it so much that we stayed again for a night before we returned to Nairobi. Seems to be the best hotel in the area.
